This was a fun project. Took a Marlin model 336 chambered in 30-30win and completely disassembled it. Every internal part was lapped and polished to the point that you could see yourself in it. The bluing was stripped off and the Aluma-Hyde II was applied. The birch wood stock was sanded and then refinished with Aluma-Hyde II which gave it a synthetic look and feel. New open sights were installed and a fiber optic front sight was installed. This action is so smooth that you can operate it with one finger. The barrel was re crowned with a crown similar to a target crown.

Busy in the shop..
Well this past month has been a busy one for the shop. 
Here are a few of the projects that have been completed.
This is my AR-15 Trigger work and mounted a scope.
Ruger 10/22 conversion to 17 mach2. Barrel, bolt, trigger work, stock, auto bolt release, ex-large mag release, action polished, Aluma-Hyde II on receiver and trigger housing.
Complete custom 1911. Trigger work, polished, bushing comp, 2 peice guide rod, extended mag release, beaver tail, extended safety, Hogue grips, mag-well, Parkerized frame and Aluma-Hyde II on the slide in dark earth.
Para Ordnance P-14 frame with a Colt Gold Cut Mark4 Series 70 Slide, Colt Gold Cup match barrel, polished, parkerized, and trigger work.

Finished!
Ok people, the Smith & Wesson comp revolver is now finished!
After 20 hours of work on this baby she is finally done. With target loads this thing has little to no recoil and if you are up to it, well lets just say that it will put every bullet in one hole. I love this gun and I'm happy to report that I have started a second one that will be for sale.

Smith & Wesson K-Frame Comp Gun
Ok folks here's the latest project. This was a Smith & Wesson K-frame revolver chambered in .357 mag. It is being fit with a Clark Custom slab side match grade barrel. The cylinder will be replaced to make this a true .38 special revolver.
The first picture is of the stripped revolver after I gutted the poor thing.
Second picture is after I removed the barrel and the new barrel is placed along side to show the difference between the two.
Third picture of the revolver is after I bead blasted and temporary placed the new barrel on the frame to show what it will look like.
